STATUTORY DECLARATION UNDER THE RTI ACT, 2005

Section 4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory declaration of KAILASH WOMEN'S COLLEGE, Nangavalli, Salem website: www.kailashwomenscollege.ac.in

Our college is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu, recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and the college is affiliated to the Periyar University, Salem. The college has Governing Council, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Alumni Association and other committees.

The college runs as per the rules and regulations implemented by the Periyar University, State Government, University Grants Commission (UGC), Central Government, etc., from time to time.

The college comes under 'Self Financing' and offers under Self - Finance Stream, therefore financial transactions are audited by the registered Chartered Accountant.

The application under the RTI Act along with a Postal Order / Demand Draft for Rs. 10/- obtained in favour of Principal. This application may be sent to the Principal/Public Information Officer or handed over in his office. All information about the college under section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 is open for public and it can be obtained by a citizen of India.
